Collection: Alexandra Pilleux of Montbrial

Artistic approach

After studying History and Art History in Paris , Alexandra Pilleux developed a sensitive and colorful painting practice, nurtured by several years of art studio work in Bordeaux. For the past five years, her work has gained in mastery and diversity, primarily exploring acrylics through landscapes, still lifes, flowers, and figures.

Her paintings revisit various well-known artistic themes (Water Lilies, Odalisques, Landscapes...), as well as more personal ones (Stories to Tell, Mother-Daughter Cuddles...). The forms become more refined, the colors interact, creating warm and inviting works.

She participated in February 2024 in the Salon du dessin et de la peinture à l'eau as part of Art Capital at the Palais Éphémère in Paris, then in February 2025 at the Grand Palais, affirming her presence on the contemporary art scene.

His painting invites a sensitive pause, a moment of gentleness with colorful scenes of life.
