A polymorphic artistic universe

Painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, installation, Land Art: Caroline Kennerson chooses her mediums according to her projects. Her work is a perpetual exploration of the body, its mysteries, its fragilities, and its connection to a constantly changing environment.

Artistic vision
In her ink drawings and ceramics, Caroline Kennerson reveals invisible aspects of life by mixing images inspired by the medical or scientific world with imaginary structures from her personal experience. This hybridization between the animal, plant and human kingdoms gives rise to unsuspected, often disturbing relationships that question our certainties and awaken a collective unconscious.

His works, oscillating between macrocosm and microcosm, between celestial vault and breeding ground, invite the viewer to redefine their view of the living universe.

Themes and inspirations

  • Fragility : Erected as a fundamental value, notably in its fine ceramics where leaves engraved with DNA structures are combined.
  • Otherness : A reflection on biocenosis and interactions between living organisms, transposed to human relations.
  • Interdependence : An incentive to rethink our connection to others and to our ecosystem.

Iconic works

  • Choir : A poetic vision of the biocenosis.
  • Ceramic sculptures: Rhubarb and plane tree leaves with engraved patterns.

Caroline Kennerson raises awareness of the otherness and fragility of life, revealing the poetry hidden in our interactions with the world. Her creations are as many calls to explore the similarities and interdependencies essential to our humanity.
