Artistic approach

Passionate about colours since childhood, which fascinate her, Corinne Foucouin exhibited for the first time in 1986, at the age of 17, at the Librairie des Blancs-Manteaux in Paris 4th with the CILF (International Centre of the French Language).

From 1988 onwards, she studied drawing with the workshops of the City of Paris, and learned with the painters Walter Nascimento, Dias Fehrat, Laurent Zunino, Gilles Maignaud, Philippe Brunet, Bernard Benant (photographer), Solène Doually (Monet School), Pilar Pradales (APSA).

In 1997, she exhibited in Ivry-sur-Seine, collective "Around the tree", then exhibited and co-organized from 2012 to 2015 the exhibitions of the collective "In the garden", in Caluire (69) and Nanteuil (60).

From 2003 to 2013, she frequently visited contemporary art exhibitions, museums, fairs and biennials: Paris, Lyon, Rome, Florence, Basel, Geneva, Venice, Istanbul, New York…

From November 18, 2023 to January 6, 2024, she exhibited 40 paintings at the Jean-Pierre Jouffroy Art Center in Bonneuil sur Marne (94) on the theme of climate: solo exhibition "Aqua Végétal".

Drawing inspiration from Nature: to share the love of artistic and personal expression. Corinne Foucouin's work, with its oil painting technique using a palette knife, offers a journey into nature and the imagination.
