Jacqueline Chatelain

Since childhood, Jacqueline Chatelain has always drawn, transforming her creativity into a true passion. A stylist, model maker and workshop manager, she had to interrupt her career for health reasons. Between 1994 and 2014, she perfected her art by studying painting and sculpture with renowned teachers such as M. Dévis and Myriam Duong.

An eclectic and instinctive art
Jacqueline explores a multitude of techniques: watercolor, silk painting, oil, acrylic, ink, collages, and steel painting with reliefs. Always looking for novelty, she creates her own tools from recycled materials, mixing intuition and experimentation.

Inspired by music, she paints instinctively, often at night, allowing herself to be absorbed by the present moment. Her works are dialogues between matter and emotion, reflecting her love for nature, embodied by her birds and bonsai that punctuate her life.
