Collection: Jacqueline Chatelain
Jacqueline Chatelain
Since childhood, Jacqueline Chatelain has always drawn, transforming her creativity into a passion. A stylist, model maker, and workshop manager, she interrupted her career for health reasons and devoted herself to painting and sculpture between 1994 and 2014 with renowned professors such as M. Dévis and Myriam Duong.
An eclectic and instinctive art
Exploring watercolor, oil, acrylic, collage, and steel painting, she creates her own tools from recycled materials. Inspired by music, she paints instinctively, often at night, creating works where matter and emotion blend. Nature, through birds and bonsai, remains at the heart of her inspiration.
Exhibitions and tours
Trained at the Mandelieu-la-Napoule Cultural Center, she exhibits solo and in collective works, notably at the Espace Henri Mathieu and the Concept Store Gallery in La Baule. A finalist in the Hommes et Femmes d'Outre-Mer competition in 2008, she returned to painting in 2022, reconnecting with a creation essential to her well-being and personal expression.
