A scientific training that allowed him to live and travel in
many countries,
an anchoring in the Alpilles territory at the end of the 90s,
the revelation of a possible accomplishment through drawing and painting,
the teaching of established artists including the visual artist Joseph Alessandri:
This is the path that led Joëlle GriMo to begin an artistic career.
Since 2010, she has been sharing her creations with the public by exhibiting them
regularly, mainly in Provence and recently in Venice (2023) and Paris
(2024).

Artistic approach

hand gesture.
• Test different technical tools for this purpose and enrich your experience.

mutation.

Here is a testimony from the artist concerning his series "Fugue": "The Fugue series offers a set of close-ups of some evocative details of a landscape in the Alpilles, transcribed in a pictorial style
personal, combining powerful emotions and past influences.
With a limited color palette and graphics inspired by distant calligraphy, it invites us to immerse ourselves in the raw energy that emerges from these works.
And why not question our relationship with Nature, the way we look at it, the interactions we maintain or undergo... and question the fact that most of our current civilizations have chosen to dissociate themselves from it."
