Artistic approach

Early on, Jonathan Van Patten was fortunate to meet an art teacher who encouraged him to experiment without limits. Color and line, present from the very beginning, have become, over the years, a true visual language. His creations explore profound themes such as change, healing, and vitality, drawing inspiration from the concept of individuation defined by C.G. Jung: this process of unification between the conscious and unconscious self, where the individual is revealed from the universal.

Her ceramic pieces, all unique, are conceived as singular objects, at the crossroads of art and intimacy. Each vase or container becomes a metaphor, a space for dialogue between matter, symbol, and inner transformation.

A multidisciplinary artist, Jonathan Van Patten is also a writer, actor and drummer, multiplying forms of expression to give voice to the same quest: to connect the inside and the outside, the sensitive and the universal.
