Collection: Nadine Corne

In 1999, after being banned from playing tennis, I decided to attend a visual arts workshop in Rennes.

I was immediately drawn to drawing, which I still practice from live models.

I started out painting in oils but became passionate about watercolors about fifteen years ago.

I realized one rainy day that it was working in the wet that interested me and that it was the fusion of colors that fascinated me.

Drawing a live model in an emergency is something I really enjoy and this is the process
that I apply outdoors.

I only work on the motif, notably with the Couleurs de Bretagne association, making a sketch then a detailed watercolor and it is only after that that I can create a memorized watercolor in a spontaneous gesture.
