Collection: Patrick Fuvel

I am a self-taught painter, draftsman and visual artist born in 1958 , a watercolorist at heart - but also a former comic book artist from the Métal Hurlant generation.

As a contemporary creator , I feel two powerful attractors: on the one hand, the pleasure that resides in the act of painting and drawing while interpreting a subject, and on the other hand, the pleasure of offering the observer the possibility of playing and dancing with my creations .

In practice I am developing the creation of kinetic figurative paintings.

So it is indeed about painting , but now in 3D. In truth, my paintings can only be appreciated through a real experience or, at a pinch, through a video (but even then, it is not YOU who decides the sequence!).

Beyond technique, I seek to share the fluid essence of dreams. Dreams are animated both by our desire and independently of our will.
