Biography
Born in 1963 in Alès in the Cévennes, Pierre-Luc Poujol distinguished himself in 1984 by graduating top of his class in Applied Arts, winning several prestigious awards. After years between France and the United States, he set up his studio in 2018 near Montpellier, in a green setting that nourishes his inspiration.

Artistic Approach
Deeply influenced by nature, Pierre-Luc Poujol integrates organic elements such as ashes, charcoal and branches into his creations. He mixes traditional and avant-garde techniques to explore the links between humans and plants. His painting, marked by dripping and projection, reflects an intuitive and free quest: "To paint is to accept losing".
