Born in 1963 in Alès in the Cévennes region, Pierre-Luc Poujol distinguished himself as early as 1984 by graduating top of his class from the School of Applied Arts, winning several prestigious awards. After years spent between France and the United States, he set up his studio in 2018 near Montpellier, in a verdant setting that nourishes his inspiration.

Artistic Approach
Deeply influenced by nature, Pierre-Luc Poujol incorporates organic elements such as ash, charcoal, and branches into his creations. He blends traditional and avant-garde techniques to explore the connections between humans and plants. His painting, characterized by dripping and projection, reflects an intuitive and free-spirited quest: "To paint is to accept loss."
