Collection: Pierre Neiveyans

Artistic approach

A man of the sea and a traveler, Pierre Neiveyans has built his career along the oceans and rivers. A sailor, diver, skipper, and captain of an oceanographic research vessel, as well as a navigator on the rivers of Africa and the Amazon, he draws on these diverse experiences to enrich his art. His works reflect this intimate connection with water and the horizon, where memory, adventure, and contemplation intertwine.

Working exclusively in watercolor, he pushes the boundaries of this technique by exploring very large formats, sometimes even up to the size of a four-panel painting. On exceptional papers ranging from 650 g to 950 g, he brings out the vibrant transparency and depth of the medium. Each painting becomes a tribute to the marine world, imbued with the spirit of adventure that has marked his life.

Living in Brittany, opposite the island of Bréhat, he exhibits regularly in French galleries and has embarked on a new adventure: sharing his unique vision on the international scene, inviting everyone to see the world through his eyes.
