An internationally renowned photographer based in Greece, he is a leading figure in the fields of architecture, design, hospitality, and food photography. His prestigious clients include hotel brands such as Hilton, Aman Resorts, Sofitel, Radisson Blu, and Grecotel, as well as renowned architects. His work graces the pages of international magazines such as Wallpaper , Architectural Digest , Andrew Martin – Interior Design Review , Taschen , JJ Magazine , and Yatzer .

A free and insatiable spirit, Vangelis Paterakis constantly explores new creative avenues. His travels to Cuba and Japan inspired his first solo painting exhibition, titled “Virtual World.” His photographic work, imbued with moving figures and striking plays of shadow, gave rise to his “Shadows” exhibitions and its sequel , “Shadow Life.” A work from “Shadows” was even selected by London’s National Theatre to illustrate Caryl Churchill’s 2015 play, “Here We Go.”
