In this contemporary interpretation of a bust of Apollo, the artist revisits the divine with a resolutely modern and mysterious approach. Apollo's face, carved with classical precision, is partially erased by a sharp horizontal cut, seeming to evaporate into the canvas. The use of blue and gray tones gives the work an almost spectral coldness, while the smooth, shiny texture of the recycled PVC adds a dimension of modernity and reinvention.

The choice to fragment the face of Apollo, the god of beauty, music, and light, is a reflection on the ephemeral nature of perfection and the divine. The line that crosses his face is not simply a rupture, but an invitation to contemplate what is beyond the visible—an exploration of the void, absence, and incompleteness that inhabits even the most perfect human and divine creations. The drops of paint dripping from the bottom of the canvas reinforce this impression of a deconstruction in progress, a process of disappearance as much as of revelation.
