In La chasse , Mounya Kecha transports us into a graphic and symbolic universe where bright colors and refined shapes intertwine to tell a story. With a bold composition, dominated by flat areas of coral pink, bright turquoise and solar orange, the artist evokes a world that is both playful and disturbing.
At the center, an imposing black silhouette—that of an orca—emerges like a quiet force in a stylized ocean. The orange fins that surround it, almost menacing, evoke a palpable tension, that of predation or perhaps survival.
Inspired by cinema and stories from our childhood, this work awakens memories of adventures and imaginary fights against "bad guys". By mixing contemporary techniques such as stencil and the precise lines of Posca markers, Mounya Kecha creates a striking visual language, halfway between illustration and abstraction.
