Untitled
135 x 300 cm, Acrylic on PVC, 2012

This untitled work is a bold and eclectic composition that fuses elements of contemporary culture, natural history, and classical art to create a complex and stimulating visual collage. Through the use of acrylic on PVC, the artist juxtaposes disparate images that at first seem incompatible but together tell a story about the collision of eras and ideas.

On the left, a giant bird skeleton, perhaps a winged dinosaur, soars into the air, evoking both the power of flight and the fragility of life. Beside it, a rugby scene shows players in the midst of a scrum, a contemporary expression of struggle and camaraderie, in stark contrast to the classical beauty of the nude female figure on the right, which appears detached and timeless. This figure, reminiscent of depictions of goddesses or muses in classical art, holds a goblet and stands calmly amidst this visual chaos.

In the background, astronomical symbols—the sun, moon, and stars—add a cosmic dimension to the composition, emphasizing themes of universality and eternity. The torn edges and uneven textures of the PVC further emphasize the idea of rupture and recomposition, as if the work itself were a fragment of a larger fresco, a piece of time and space recomposed by the artist.

Untitled is a meditation on the coexistence of past and present, natural and human, struggle and serenity. By combining such diverse elements, the artist creates a work that not only questions the nature of art and image, but also how we perceive and interpret our world, through the filters of time, culture and personal perception.
