For me, the pleasure of drawing precedes that of gesture: it is in the rhythm of the line, in this intimate freedom where the unexpected arises, that the true magic resides. Because, in short, the painter is a magician of forms and colors.

From a very young age, drawing has been an integral part of my life. I started by observing my father, himself a painter, whom I tried to imitate, then by reproducing in black pencil images gleaned from TV programs. Around the age of twenty, I entered the Arts et Métiers school in Paris, where my ease in drawing allowed me to validate a year ahead.

Even when my professional activities took me away from the artistic world, I never stopped perfecting my technique, tirelessly exploring the subtleties of drawing and painting. I refined my vision, refined my gestures, developing observation methods that I enjoyed passing on for eight years to students of all ages, during drawing workshops.

Today, I continue my artistic journey through watercolor and Indian ink, on paper or canvas. My current style is the fruit of a long journey, nourished by multiple influences, which I synthesize into a personal, free and poetic expression.
