Between shadow and light, La Douche de Sable transports the viewer to an abandoned house where nature has patiently reclaimed its rights. The sand, like a discreet but powerful intruder, floods the ground, creeps in through the cracks, and tells the story of the inexorable passage of time.
Matthieu Pujol captures here a rare and magical moment: a ray of soft light pierces through a half-open door, illuminating the grainy texture of the sand and the faded walls, imbued with a silent memory.
