A sculpted horizon, a vision suspended between matter and light. "Orama" , which means "view" in Greek, captures the essence of an abstract landscape, where the raised shapes evoke mountain ridges, frozen waves or the traces left by the wind on the sand.
The textured layers seem to float above a purified space, creating a dialogue between presence and absence, between movement and stillness. The white, pure and mineral, acts as an invitation to contemplation, a screen where everyone can project their own interpretation.
With this work, Alexis Toublanc offers a visual meditation on infinity, on the way nature inscribes its memory in matter. "Orama" is an open window on the abstraction of the world, a silent echo of real or imagined landscapes.
