SCULPTOR

“The wire twists and the iron comes to life… The animal, the vegetable and the mineral come to life.”

“Imagination feeds on images along the way.”
— Leonor Fini

Sculpture, painting and photography are among these images.

"People who want something strongly are almost always well served by chance."
— Honoré de Balzac

Once upon a time…

A few years ago, while working as a nurse, I accidentally discovered oil painting with a generous and talented artist. After several years of painting and drawing alongside other artists, I wanted to explore sculpture.

And there again, the chance of a beautiful encounter led me to join a sculptor's workshop. After working with clay, I discovered wire. It was love at first sight for this material and for the fish that was born under my fingers.

"Art must be born from the material and spirituality must borrow the language of the material."
— Jean Dubuffet

This work with wire has revolutionized my vision of sculpture and drawn me into a world where drawing comes to life in three dimensions, where the shadow cast by the object is as important as the object itself.

This artistic passion has transformed my outlook on my environment. I'm constantly imagining new sculptures from a piece of wood, a piece of scrap metal, or plants I pick up during my walks. My gaze is always on the lookout, and I love observing the world around me with this creative afterthought.
