Here, Laurence Van Baren sketches a hybrid being, where a pine branch becomes the skeleton of a fish with ethereal fins, delicately spun in iron. The sculpture oscillates between transparency and matter, playing with light and shadows, as if the animal were gradually dissolving into its environment.
