About the artist

Contemporary figurative sculptor, Maxence Landon began sculpting in 2016 in Élisabeth Bonvalot's studio. This discovery marked a turning point: through contact with clay, a vocation emerged, offering a powerful emotional language, free from all duality. From 2017 onwards, he devoted himself to it fully.

Trained in artistic teaching, he became a sculpture and modeling teacher for the town hall of Sevran in 2019. In 2020 he obtained the certificate of sculpture and modeling workshop leader , consolidating his desire to pass on his knowledge.

A sculpture imbued with life, poised between emotion and introspection.

His work in terracotta, often extended to bronze through collaboration with the Chapon Foundry , explores the human figure with a touch of surrealism. Each piece is born in an almost meditative state, where emotions, doubts, desires, and memories take shape, without judgment.

Her sculptures explore identity, transition, and memory. They offer a respite in the heart of existence, a poetic and sensitive space amidst the tumult of reality.
