The delicately sculpted human figure stretches languidly across a midnight blue base, marked by flows and reliefs that evoke a changing world. The whole suggests a drift between the conscious and the unconscious, a wandering in a space where body and mind become one.
With this work, Philippe Rude explores the fragility of dreams, that in-between state where man escapes reality to touch infinity. A tribute to reverie, to the suspended moment when everything becomes possible.
