Erected like a figure from another time, Sentinelle – NUBIAN imposes its presence with a silent force. Its bust in patinated sandstone, streaked with red, seems marked by battles and ages, while the diverted objects that surround it evoke both a protective armor and an imposed constraint.
His head, with its expression erased under a metal structure, intrigues: is it a war mask, a shell against the outside world or the symbol of a transformation? The addition of leather straps, straps and metal reinforces the idea of a fusion between the organic and the industrial, between the old and the contemporary.
