Mr. Light

Born in 1984 in the south of France, I have always been keen to express myself through drawing from a very young age. I filled the margins of my school notebooks with humorous sketches, then the walls of my bedroom... much to the dismay of my parents!
It was my grandfather who introduced me to the color wheel. This encounter with color planted a seed in me that would never stop growing.

At the age of 13, I had a seminal experience: in the middle of the night, I woke up with a start, struck by a sudden inspiration. I grabbed a canvas, some brushes, some paint... and began to paint a night landscape with a green sky. That was the turning point.

My artistic journey began with comics, then naturally evolved towards graffiti and muralism , a universe in which I took the pseudonym LiGht , which later became Mr LiGht .
Creating monumental frescoes also leads me to create pieces in the studio, in small format. Over time, my work has moved towards a more intimate painting, focused on everyday life, melancholy and memories . Graffiti and comics are always present, muted, with some reminiscences in my works.
