THE ARTIST: OZMO

Born in Pontedera in 1975, Gionata Gesi, better known as Ozmo, is an Italian urban artist and painter who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. In 2001 he moved to Milan, where he began to collaborate with major galleries, signing his works under his birth name for his pictorial creations, while intervening in public spaces with his Ozmo tag. He thus became one of the best-known pioneers of contemporary urban art, both in Italy and internationally.

A Path of Excellence

Since 2003, Ozmo has exhibited regularly in prestigious art fairs and museum collections in Italy. His notable exhibitions include "Il Pregiudizio Universale" at the Museo del 900 in Milan and a 14-meter mural at the MACRO Museum in Rome in 2012.

International Presence

In addition to his institutional works, Ozmo has created numerous monumental frescoes around the world in cities such as New York, Miami, Chicago, Baltimore, London, Berlin, São Paulo, Havana, Beirut, and throughout Italy.
