Two towers rise side by side, asserting radically different presences. One, strict and vertical, imposes the methodical repetition of its lines. Its facade, punctuated by a regular grid, affirms order, stability, and continuity. The other, more fluid, seems to deform in an almost organic surge. Its glass surface captures the light and reflects it in subtle movements, as if the material itself were hesitating between tension and surrender.
Photographed in black and white, the architectural forms stand out from all chromatic distractions. Light reveals textures, accentuates edges, and glides over curves. Rigidity confronts fluidity; straight lines converse with curves. Nothing clashes head-on, nothing imposes itself. Forms coexist, each asserting its own logic.
In this silent confrontation, Tereza Palaiologou does not seek the spectacular. She observes the fragile balance between two visions of human ambition: to build in order to dominate space, or to shape it in order to inhabit it differently. What remains is not the singularity of each tower, but the invisible space between them—this place of subtle tension where ideas adjust, respond to one another, and learn to exist together without ever merging.
The city then appears as a field of silent negotiations, where architecture becomes the language of ideals that rise, transform and coexist in a discreet harmony.
