Description of the work: "Seeing life"

In "Seeing Life" José María Lamo de Espinosa invites us to cross the mirror of the everyday to discover the poetry hidden in the ordinary. Captured with a mastery of light and reflections, this black and white photograph transforms an urban scene in Paris into a painting where reality and illusion merge.

The composition offers a subtle play between the exterior and the interior, the tangible world and its ethereal double. The viewer is placed at the interface of two dimensions: that of the street, with its passers-by, bicycles and buildings, and that of the reflections, where these elements are reinterpreted, distorted by the glass surface. The bare trees frame the scene, recalling the melancholy of a Parisian winter day, while the silhouettes of the passers-by seem to dissolve into the atmosphere, like ghosts wandering between two worlds.

Lamo de Espinosa captures here the very essence of the city: a place of passages, shadows and lights, where each moment contains a multitude of invisible stories. "En vois la vie" is a work that captures the soul of Paris, this city where every street corner can reveal a burst of unexpected beauty. This photograph imposes itself not only as a tribute to the City of Lights, but also as a visual meditation on the transience of urban life.

This work will find its place in any space seeking to capture the discreet elegance of Paris, while offering its observers an open door to the imagination and reflection.
