A suspended theater, a mirror of the world.
With Et comment va la Terre , Maguy Bourzeix orchestrates a scene of striking symbolic richness. On a stone island floating between sky and sea, a motley crowd gathers: kings, wise men, children, nuns, scientists… All seem to be debating, scrutinizing, questioning the destiny of our planet. At the center, a precarious house – our fragile common habitat – from which emerges a tree of hope, bearing wings and dreams.
Beneath the surface, swimmers observe, others gently sink in. Above, a monumental bird dominates the scene, a harbinger of an uncertain balance.
