Tuareg woman

In this small sculpture, Arestakes pays homage to the strength and tenderness of Tuareg women. Draped in veils, the female figure emerges from a mineral base as if shaped by the desert wind, holding a child in her arms with poignant gentleness. The patina of ochre and green tones reinforces the impression of an ancestral connection with the land and nomadic traditions.
