I was on the road in Rajasthan when we came across this scene. A large group of Indian women, Rajasthani women, standing tightly together on a trailer pulled by a tractor driven by two men.
These women were road construction workers; they were being transported to a nearby construction site. There were young people, middle-aged women, and older women...
They were very slim, dressed in colorful outfits, and possessed a great natural grace. They were talkative, cheerful, and waved at us with broad smiles.
