Hiver aux Buttes-Chaumont is an ode to urban poetry, a sensitive and dreamlike interpretation of the famous Parisian park frozen in winter tranquility. Daniela Rothem Partouche deploys all her mastery of line and material to freeze a suspended, almost silent moment.
The HB pencil drawing delicately depicts the bare silhouettes of the trees and the soft contours of the landscape.
