With Just Dali III , Jean-Marie Gitard fuses the world of surrealism with contemporary iconography. Salvador Dalí's famous gaze is reinvented here in an explosion of pop colors and digital textures, where his mustache becomes the iconic Nike comma.
This visual shock, both funny and incisive, questions the reclamation of artistic figures by mass culture. The work plays with diversion and the absurd, paying homage to the provocative spirit of the Catalan master while highlighting the paradoxes of our time.
