Kanji are Japanese writings borrowed from Chinese.

Like symbols, these expressions describe the light of life, of speech, through their meanings but also reinforced by the gold leaf which covers each word: Hope, Life, Light, Truth, Dream

The work is composed of 5 painted canvases with raised writing, covered with gold leaf, the whole being highlighted by a black plexiglass background, which also catches the light.
