A silent writing engraved in the material, a forgotten language that resonates in the texture. "Keimeno" , from the Greek "κείμενο" meaning "text", evokes an abstract archive, a message inscribed in time, the meaning of which remains to be deciphered.
The chiseled reliefs recall ancient glyphs, architectural imprints or the traces of a repetitive and meditative movement. The subtle monochrome captures the light, revealing a rhythm, an almost musical structure where each line seems to resonate with the next.
With this work, Alexis Toublanc explores the boundary between memory and abstraction, between writing and sensation. "Keimeno" becomes a page open to interpretation, an unwritten story waiting to be read by the eye.
