In The Hanged Man (Tarot) , Maguy Bourzeix reinvents one of the most enigmatic arcana of the tarot, infusing it with a serene and deeply contemplative energy. Suspended by one foot from an arch woven with vines and branches, the upside-down man does not suffer: he meditates, he illuminates.
His arms rest peacefully, a luminous aura surrounds his head, and three female figures observe him, half fascinated, half worried. A raven watches over the summit—a messenger from another world, guardian of the threshold.
