In a pale corridor, resembling an abandoned building or a forgotten institution, three chimpanzees emerge from behind a half-open door. Their posture, half curious, half disturbing, blurs the lines between human and animal, the familiar and the strange. With subtle humor and an almost cinematic staging,
Jean-Marie Gitard diverts the banality of the place to make it a theater of the absurd, where the question of the gaze and intrusion becomes central.
