In a world inspired by surrealism, Jean-Marie Gitard depicts a character in a dark suit and bowler hat, frozen in front of an unmarked door, while another, marked with universal gender symbols, remains closed. Between absurd humor, criticism of social norms and minimalist aesthetics, Mr. Graham questions our conditioning, our hesitations, and our relationship with conformity.
The flowerpot and the umbrella reinforce this atmosphere, which is both banal and deeply strange.
