Trip to Polynesia
Trip to Polynesia in 1983. Base of operations: Tahiti. We visited Moorea, Tahiti's twin island, the Austral Islands (Rurutu and Raiatea), and Maupiti in the Leeward Islands. We went to the atoll surrounding the island, called a Motu by the Polynesians. Turquoise waters in the lagoon and ultramarine blue further out. What a pleasure to swim among the multicolored fish!
