Balancing on the roof of a vintage car, ready to slam a dunk in an American desert setting dotted with cacti and silence, Mr. Stigsson seems to be enjoying himself in a world suspended in time. An empty telephone booth, a symbol of an outdated past, echoes the improbable action of the scene.

This work plays with the absurd and the discrepancy, in an aesthetic halfway between American nostalgia and surrealist imagination.
