With Irresistible , Arestakes sculpts a work where the energy of the marble seems to spring from an intimate sanctuary. Carved deep, the form evokes a sacred alcove, a protected, sensual, almost uterine interior space, from which rises an upward, fluid, and ascending movement. The clean lines draw a contained sensuality, while the contrasting textures—smooth and rough—accentuate the strength of the sculptural gesture.
