In *Us and You* , Sarah Fouqueau explores the subtle boundary between self and other, between closeness and otherness. Two bodies emerge in a fragile, almost suspended relationship, as if hesitating between the impulse to draw near and the necessity of distance. The partially blurred silhouettes seem to bear the trace of a presence as much as that of an absence.
The manipulation of materials, blending oil and acrylic, reveals a vibrant background, marked by gesture and time. Bodies emerge through touches, through imprints, never settling into a definitive identity.
