Timid or serious glances emerge from the veins of the bark, as if the tree had decided to speak to us through its folds, its wrinkles, its layers of experience. This procession of faces hidden in the material requires a slowdown. A softer gaze. More attentive.
Through this work, the artist extends his intuitive and organic quest for an inhabited nature—a nature not observed from a distance, but felt from within. Each trunk becomes a witness, a guardian, a mirror of our own states of mind.
