Who are these snakes? – Jessica Seivert
Snakes crawl, coil, and intrude into shadows and thoughts. Who are they? Are they real or a reflection of our own torments? "Who Are These Snakes?" is a disturbing exploration of the duality between body and mind, between humans and their hidden demons.
The central torso, in shades of gray, appears both sculptural and spectral, like an elusive presence. Around it, organic patterns in shimmering colors intertwine, like golden serpents, moving illusions, fragments of an inner dialogue. Abstraction blends with the figurative, creating a vibrant tension between control and chaos, between smooth and rough, between strength and vulnerability.
Jessica Seivert immerses us in a canvas where symbols and emotion collide , where the gaze seeks to disentangle truth from fantasy. A work that questions, that perhaps disturbs, but which, above all, does not leave one indifferent.
