The veins of a continent, the traces of a memory.
In Sang d'Afrique , Félix Lamalle traces an inner and organic cartography, where lines become roots, circuits, scars. The canvas, saturated with scorched earth, red ochres and powerful yellows, vibrates like living skin—that of a continent nourished by history, struggles and life.
In the center, a triangular shape emerges, marked by dark stems resembling arrows or arteries. Around it, labyrinthine networks extend, like the multiple paths of the diaspora, the interlacing of traditions, or the flows of silent resistance.
The title resonates like a suppressed cry. Blood of Africa is a vibrant, serious, yet luminous tribute to deep identity, to transmission, and to the vital energy that the artist brings from the ground to the canvas.
