The second opus of a sculptural dialogue in motion, Catch Me If You Can (2) continues the play between balance and momentum. Here, the suspended geometric stone seems suspended in its course towards a raw form of driftwood, fixed on a sinuous metal structure.
The contrast of materials – the purity of the stone, the irregularity of the wood, the coldness of the metal – creates a strong, almost kinetic visual tension.
The work evokes a frozen moment between two movements, between quest and avoidance, between form and formlessness. A poetic piece with philosophical overtones.
