Between poetic absurdity and minimalist architecture, this work by Pascal Le Berre evokes an imaginary creature, fragile and dignified, silently waiting. The split oak block serves as a base for two metal tools raised like legs or stilts, topped with a half-disc of Caen stone suggesting a head, a wing, or a lunar fragment.
The title, playful and melancholic, summons the world of fables and forgotten utopias. The formal balance of the piece, between vertical tension and soothing curve, perfectly illustrates this suspended waiting, both vain and essential.
A sculpture that reminds us that even chimeras deserve their place—placed there, waiting for a breath, a glance, or a less harsh future.
