A subtle evocation of an absent musician, Monsieur I's Violin Case seems to contain a silent memory.
Weathered wood, black iron, and white stone create a collection as enigmatic as it is elegant. The stone floats like a suspended note, between two wooden shapes sculpted like traces of a vanished body. The balance is fragile, precise like a perfect chord.
The work suggests more than it says, leaving room for the mystery of an invisible presence, a gesture, a song. Pascal Le Berre orchestrates a visual score here, on the border between object, memory, and poetry.
