Oscillating between rigid verticality and inner shift, The Deconstructed Man embodies a figure in mutation.
The cubic head, carved from Caen stone, overlooks a torso perforated with metallic absences. The body fragments, shifts, and articulates like a poorly fixed memory or an identity under construction. The wood, a living material, seems to seek balance at the end of a steel wire.
Pascal Le Berre here creates a being suspended between logic and chaos, gravity and poetry, whose troubled posture subtly questions our own inner construction.
