Two shapes observe each other, almost brush against each other, suspended in silent waiting.
One, in light stone, seems to stretch out its face. The other, massive and warm, keeps watch. The work summons a silent dialogue between memory and presence, between weight and lightness. Rivesaltes, halte bears a name evocative of exile and stopping, a stopping perhaps necessary to listen to what has been silenced. Between straight lines and gentle curves, the balance is fragile, yet determined.
