This work is inspired by my years spent in India. It is a fantasy, a composition of three Indian scenes united in a triptych.
In the left panel, two young Indian women prepare a prayer (puja) and create a rangoli decoration under a mango tree. In the central panel, the panther Bagheera leaps into a waterfall. In the right panel, an old yogi or guru meditates under a banyan tree.
All the elements present in the scene—trees, plants, animals, humans—share a common feeling of harmony and peace.
